What is Managed Services?
Managed Services allows IT service providers to proactively monitor and protect desktop computers and servers. To accomplish this, software that runs in the background is usually installed on client computers. In many cases, the client software is bundled with anti-virus and anti-malware protection.
The cost varies widely among IT service providers, but you're normally charged for each computer and server being monitored. Server monitoring often costs ten times as much as desktop monitoring. This is a common practice that can be somewhat justified, but Fourteen Six Street charges one low rate for desktops and servers.
